I have been an avid hunter for all my life and mostly here in South Texas. I have ventured out to other states from time to time but there is no place like home here in South Texas brush country. I am a third generation cotton and grain farmer here in South Texas and lucky to be able to have the winters off to pursue hunting and fishing about anytime I want. The farm life gave me plenty of time to raise my three sons in the outdoors, both farming and hunting and fishing. As they grew and started their own families, I hired on with several ranches here in the area and have run hunting operations for the last fifteen years. Along with a partner Frank Davis, we run 6000 (+-) acres and take hunters from all over the US hunting whitetail deer.
Recently I partnered with three other individuals and started a TV Show on the Sportsman Channel called The Brush Country Monsters Show, which will air on Monday nights at 8 PM starting July 2010. My knowledge of hunting the whitetail and the techy side of me who enjoys cameras and computers made an excellent fit for being the host of the TV Show. If not in front of the camera hosting or shooting, I am probably behind it for most of the footage on the show. The show will consist 75% of South Texas Brush Country Hunts and the other 25% will be travels to other areas and types of hunting from the mid west whitetails, to New Mexico for elk and antelope or to Argentina for red stag or doves, and hunts for bear and turkey are on the planning table for future shows.
